Jesse Rhye Recny, a cancer patient in Atlanta, celebrated the end of her chemo treatment with a beautiful performance of “Amazing Grace.”
It is commonplace for cancer patients to celebrate the ending of their chemotherapy treatments by ringing a ceremonial bell. Jesse put a slight twist on this by first performing a rendition of “Amazing Grace” before she rang the bell.
Surrounded by family and nurses, Jesse marked her end of chemotherapy treatments in a special way that was unique to her. Watch as Jesse sings “Amazing Grace” before ringing the bell in commemoration of her finished battle.
